Bunaken is an island located in the Celebes Sea, just off the northern tip of the Indonesian island Sulawesi, a popular destination for SCUBA divers. It is the heart of Bunaken National Marine Park, renowned for its massive level of biodiversity, with seven times the genera of corals found in Hawaii, 7 of the 8 species of the world’s giant clams, and 70 percent of the fish species that are found in the Indo-Western Pacific. As with many coral reef zones, the nightlife here is superb, and offers divers a look into a new world teeming with species that live by the light of the moon. Check out these impressive videos we found of the night diving to be had in Bunaken. Now, who wants to go diving?
