Getting SCUBA Certified: Exploration

Welcome back for the last segment of Getting SCUBA Certified, where after last week’s training, you should have the full experience pretty much wrapped up. The checkout process of your training will consist of four dives, and you must correctly complete the skills to receive your certification. By this point, you should start getting the hang of your buoyancy, finning, keeping a streamlined profile, checking your gauges frequently, and of course, taking in all the sights and sounds around you.

One of the greatest things about SCUBA diving is that there is always something to learn, and endless ways you can improve your diving experience and technique. Practice makes perfect, so try to dive regularly if you can. Learning to breathe underwater is one of life’s most unique skills, and we have no doubt that you are going to love it!
